Thomas Yannick Obituary

Yannick, Thomas Sr.
TROY - Thomas Yannick Sr., lovingly known as "Pop" by his family and fondly called "The Horn" by his friends, passed away at the age of 89, Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Samaritan Hospital. Mr. Yannick was born and raised in South Troy. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1963 to '65. He worked at the Ford Motor Company, the South End Tavern and was self-employed.
Mr. Yannick was the husband of the late Dolores Doody Yannick. He is survived by his children, Thomas J. Yannick Jr. (Mary) and Barbara (Peter) Fazioli. Survived by his grandchildren, Cory (Michaela) Fazioli; great-grandchildren, Calliope and Dylan; grandchildren, Jonathan (Keira) Fazioli; great-grandchildren, Theodore and Oliver; grandchildren, T/L Jeremy (Meaghan) Fazioli; and great-grandchildren, Lily, Gabriella, Mia and Ava. Also survived by his nephew, Al (Cheryl) Foice; and niece, Mary Grace (John) Cahill.
Mr. Yannick was predeceased by his sisters, Agnes (Al) Foice, Josephine Yannick and Ann Caruso; and his brothers, John, Alex, Martin, Joseph, and Raymond Yannick.
Services will be held Monday, September 22, at Oakwood Bible Church, 260 Oakwood Ave., Troy, N.Y. Calling hours will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by funeral services and interment.
A reception will follow afterward.
