Timothy J. Thornton

NISKAYUNA Timothy J. Thornton, age 59, died Thursday, August 24, 2006. Born in Albany, he was a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Siena College and earned two master's degrees from the College of St. Rose; one in musical theater and the other in musical theory. Tim was employed at Time Warner Cable for more than 28 years as a director and manager in the MIS department. Tim enjoyed gardening, landscaping, his pond, good music and the Yankees. Tim will be remembered for his sense of humor and wit. Son of the late Edward J. and Carolyn Carnibucci Thornton; father of Daniel R. Thornton of Florida. Tim leaves behind the love of his life, Suzanne Perreault, and his devoted friend, Robert Perreault. Special family members include Bev Kennedy and Carolyn Herrawyn. Brother of the late Daniel Thornton. Funeral services will be held in the Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home, 8 Dudley Heights (Northern Blvd.), Albany, Saturday morning at 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may call at the funeral home Saturday 9 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
