Daley, Vasiliki "Viki"
EAST GREENBUSH - Vasiliki "Viki" Daley, 96, of East Greenbush, N.Y., passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
Viki was born in New York City, the daughter of the late George and Anna (Sciarabba) Touris.
She graduated from A.B. Davis High School in Mount Vernon, and Hudson Valley Community College in Troy. She was especially proud of her degree in "Sagacity" from Purdue University, which she received for her selfless support of Ray while he worked toward his undergraduate degree.
Along with caring for her family, she enjoyed singing, including being a member of the Sweet Adelines Capitaland Chapter in the 1980s, sewing, and quilting. Her Halloween costumes were legendary among her friends and family, and her quilts will continue to wrap her family in her love.
She was a special education teacher for BOCES of N.Y.S. for nearly 15 years before retiring to enjoy time with her husband, Ray.
Survivors include sons, Thomas (Evelyn) Daley and Raymond A. (Faith Callif-Daley) Daley, III; daughter, Diane (Bagrian) Vatchev; granddaughters, Nichole Kern-Davis, Justine Daley, Serena Daley, Marissa Daley, and Petkana Vatchev; grandsons, Thomas Daley and Steven Vatchev; five great-grandchildren; loving sisters, Georgene (Jeannie) Terminiello, Mary Quatela, and Linda Sparaco; as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her adoring husband, Raymond A. Daley II in 2014.
Friends and family are invited to call on October 25, 2025, between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., in the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer, immediately followed by a service. Interment will be in the East Greenbush Cemetery, 688 Columbia Turnpike, East Greenbush, at approximately 11:45 a.m.
