Verna Bolton Obituary
ALBANY - Verna M. Bolton, 86, passed away peacefully August 16, 2025, at Riverside Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, in Castleton-on-Hudson.
Born in Albany on August 25, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Elizabeth (Froelick) Edick. Verna graduated from Albany High School and thrived in a career that lasted over 45 years, as a secretary at Albany Medical Center. She adored her family and every chance they had to be together.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Ronald Lindemann; as well as by Clifford Bolton, her spouse of over 40 years, who passed on August 7, 2024.
She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Francis) Curtis; her granddaughters, Michelle Curtis and Debra Curtis; and her great-grandson, Hunter McMahon. In addition to her parents, Verna was predeceased by her great-grandchild, Leo McMahon.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., with a prayer service to follow at 10:30 a.m., at Tebbutt & Frederick Memorial Home, 633 Central Ave., Albany, N.Y. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
