Vincent DiNuzzo Obituary

DiNuzzo, Vincent D., Sr.
LATHAM - On November 26, 2023, Vincent D. DiNuzzo, Sr., 94, peacefully left this world into the loving arms of his mother. Born of Italian immigrants, Vince was the son of the late Francesco "Frank" J. DiNuzzo and Vincenza "Jennie" Razzano DiNuzzo. He was born in Watervliet, N.Y. on November 8, 1929.
Vince attended St. Patrick's School in Watervliet, graduated from Watervliet High School and attended Siena College.
Vince worked as an accountant for Borden's Dairy for many years, full-time and then part-time. From there he went to work in Corporation Tax at the NYS Department of Taxation & Finance. However, the majority of Vince's career was spent as an Internal Auditor, and then Director of Internal Audit at the NYS Department of Transportation. Upon his retirement, he moved to Pompano Beach, Fla. where he spent 20+ years. Recently he moved to Latham, N.Y. to be nearer to his two older children.
He leaves behind his three loving and devoted children, Theresa Jarvis (Jim), Vince DiNuzzo, Jr. and Donna Marie Cole (Dave); two grandsons, Michael Johnson (Mara) and Anthony Bonacci (Kara); and one great-grandson, David Johnson. He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Pamela DiNuzzo; his brothers, Doug (Jane) DiNuzzo, Neal (Mame) DiNuzzo, Louis (Edna) DiNuzzo and Frank (Mary) DiNuzzo; and his sisters, Mary (Vince) Loparco, Anne DiNuzzo and Bette (Don) Burnham. Vince is survived by his brother Phil (Ann) DiNuzzo and many loving nieces and nephews.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Watervliet, St. Ambrose Church in Latham and St. Henry's Church in Pompano Beach, Fla. Vince held a very special devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Calling hours for Vince will be on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet. His funeral mass will be on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Latham. His interment will follow in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Watervliet.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 409 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham, N.Y. 12110.
