TROY - Vivian Mary Karam, age 70, peacefully entered into eternal life, at St. Peter's Hospice Inn, on May 14, 2025, after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Vivian was born in Lebanon where she spent her childhood prior to moving to the United States with her parents and siblings. Vivian enlisted into the United States Army and received an honorable discharge. Following her service, she spent her life caring for family, friends and church.
Vivian was the oldest child of Claramae and Joseph Karam. She was predeceased by her parents; and is survived by her siblings, Elie (Kyomi) Karam, Alfred (Judi) Karam, Michael Karam, Jeannette August, Antoine (Linda Neison) Karam, James (Lisa) Karam; and several adoring nieces and nephews.
Vivian will be remembered as a loyal family member who loved her family fiercely. She was an exceptional cook and a talented seamstress who knitted and crocheted blankets and clothing for those she loved and cared for.
Vivian's family would like to thank the staff at St. Peter's Hospice for the loving care and comfort they provided to Vivian as she passed on, to be reunited with her mother whom she deeply loved. We are comforted that she is at peace with the Lord and the angels.
