William Barber Obituary

Barber, William K. LANCASTER, Calif. William K. Barber, 81, of Lancaster, Calif., died November 14, 2007 in California. Born in Cohoes, he was the son of the late William and Genevieve Donah Barber. He was educated in Waterford schools. Mr. Barber has resided in California for the past 52 years and worked for Northrop Grumman as a radar specialist. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served for 12 years beginning during World War II. He was brother of Helen Ryan of Waterford, Betty Giroux of Cohoes and the late Dorothy Paskow, Evelyn and Jack Barber. A graveside committal service with military honors will be held Saturday, December 15 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Waterford. Arrangements are under the direction of the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, Waterford.
