William Meyer Obituary
WESTERLO - William "Bill" Meyer, 63 years of Westerlo, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, October 26, 1960, in Bayshore, the son of the late Donald and the late Lorraine (née Bracchi) Meyer. He resided most of his adult life in upstate New York.
Bill worked as a meat cutter and a chef until disability rendered him unable in 1999. He was very good at woodworking, and making stone, wood, and glass necklaces.
In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by brothers, Bruce and Donald Meyer, father-in-law, Cliff Fisher; and brother-in-law, Wayne Haley.
He is survived by his wife, Debrah; mother-in-law, Marie Haley; son, Mark (Ellen) Perreault; stepchildren, Keith (Val) Wright, Kiley (Joel) Roe, and Kenneth (Marea) Wright; as well as his brothers, Mark and George Meyer, and Joey Bracchi. Also left in his memory are grandchildren, William Perreault, Bretton, Torrance, Alison, Anagale, William, Kasadie and Keith Wright, Kaylee and Kennedy Roe; and great-granddaughter, Audrey. Along with many brother and sisters-in-law; and his dog, Shelby; best friends, Ed, Ruthie, Brent and Felicia.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's at ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105, or the Dormansville Church, at PO Box 162 Westerlo, N.Y. 12193, or the Westerlo Fire House building fund at PO Box 87, Westerlo, N.Y. 12193.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 4, at 5:00 p.m. at A. J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville. Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday, June 4 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at A. J. Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 State Route 81, Greenville.
Interment will take place on Wednesday, June 5, at 10:00 a.m. at Westerlo Rural Cemetery, State Route 143, Westerlo. Condolences may be left at ajcunninghamfh.com
