Dear Tiffany:
I wrote this poem two years ago...I'm passing it along to you. I hope it will help you to know that your Mom will always be with you in some way. She is the whisper of the wind as you walk down the street. She is the smell of certain foods that you remember and perfume that she wore. You'll find her in a song that you hear and words that you read. Look, and she'll be there.
You will ALWAYS have a Mother
She just won't be with you
But she still will see and hear
Every single thing you do.
For some unknown reason
God called her home to Him
And now the light that's in your world
Is shining very dim.
Your Mother is an Angel now
She has a different job
Now you must continue on
And make her very proud.
Do your best to live out your life
Remembering things she taught you
Help your dad, he's hurting too
He can't go on without you.
And it's okay for you to cry
And hold her picture close
Remembering all the happy times
Is what you'll cherish most.
As time goes by your pain will ease
In one way or another
But even though she won't be here
She'll ALWAYS be your Mother.
May you and your family be blessed with peace at this difficult time.

Hey Tiff, I am so very sorry to hear about your mom passing away:o( I only had the chance to meet her once but that one time was enough for me to tell she was a great woman & I wish I had the chance to know her more. You & your family are in my prayers & just remember, your mom is with God now & is in no pain & as happy as can be & you will get the chance to see her again one day! Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you through these painful days...

My brother could not have found a better person than Alice to be his wife and the mother of his children. Such an honorable woman. I know she will be very much missed, but though she is gone in body, she remains in our hearts and we cannot think of her without a smile on our face. She brought joy to so many. Now she has the fullness of joy with her Lord. We will miss her dearly, but know the Lord has need of her now. Thank goodness we know we will see her again in glory.
