Frances C. Landrigan of Wall Township died on March 12, 2009 at the Care One Health Care facility of Wall Township. Born in Nutley she was a graduate of the Nutley High School Class of 1937. Mrs. Landrigan was employed as a phone operator with New Jersey Bell (now Verizon) before relocating to Massachusetts where she continued to work for the Bell System of Massachusetts until her retirement in 1984. She was an active member of St. Michael's Episcopal Church of Wall Township, serving on the St. Hilda's Alter Guild, and the St. Michael's Episcopal Church Women's Committee.
Mrs. Landrigan was predeceased by her beloved parents, William Johnson and Alice McGrane Johnson, and her five brothers and six sisters. She is survived by her many loving nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 21, 2009 at the St. Michael's Episcopal Church Allenwood Road, Wall Township. Donations in memory of Mrs. Landrigan can be made to St. Michaels Church c/o 3402 Woodfield Avenue Wall Township, NJ 07719. Arrangements entrusted to Johnson-McGinley Funeral Home, Wall Township.
