Amal Bahri

BAHRI Amal Bahri, 69, passed away on April 13, 2015. She was born in Jounieh, Lebanon and was a successful business woman before settling in Jacksonville to be close to her beloved family. She was a devoted wife, daughter and sister and a second mother to all. She is known for her love of life, delicious Lebanese cooking, and a heart of gold. Amal is preceeded in death by her sister, Salime Bahri Abi-Khalil. She is survived by her husband; Nohad Korkomaz; Her parents; Abdo and Chafica Bahri; brothers, Georges (Lori) , Nabil (Soha), Sami (Micheline) , Fady (Melia) , Gaby (Joyce) , Andre (Carla) , all of Jacksonville, FL. 2 sisters,; Nawal Abi-Nasr of Jounieh, Lebanon and Lillianne (Robert) Helt of Paris, France ; aunt, Juliette Mechrek of Beirut, Lebanon and 22 Nieces and Nephews and many cousins. The family will receive friends at St. Maron Maronite Catholic Church on Friday after a Rosary service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial for Amal A. Bahri will be held at 11 AM Saturday, April 18, 2015 at St. Maron Maronite Catholic Church, 7032 Bowden Road, Jacksonville with Father Elie Abi Chedid, Celebrant. Entombment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Maron Maronite Catholic Church, 7032 Bowden Road, Jacksonville, FL 32216.
