It has been a many years since I’ve seen Anson but our days at Ribault Middle will never be forgotten. He was always full of jokes and laughter. He knew what to say or do to make you feel better or lighten the mood. It was a pleasure to know him.

I am deeply saddened by your loss. I will always cherish the memories of Anson, while under my guardianship in Jacksonville, Fla., as well as in Atlanta, Georgia. Anson was a young man with dignity and and great dreams. His dreams of graduating from high school and playing football for a major university (Mississippi State University) were accomplished with great pride and dignity. I will always remember Anson, for I know he has gone to a better place now. Please know that although I cannot be with you at this time, my prayers and thoughts are with you.
