Barry Glenn Moore, 67, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018. Barry was born in Roanoke, Virginia and had resided in Jacksonville for most of his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and had retired from Millwright Union #2411 with over 50 years of service. He was predeceased by his father, Henry Moore; a daughter, Jodi Moore and a grandson, Randall Tapley. Survivors include his mother, Mamie Moore; 1 daughter, Stacie Gill (Louis); Step son, Russell Tapley; 1 sister, Sharon Booth; 2 brothers, Gary and Kevin Moore; 3 grandchildren: Kirsten, Bryant & Valerie; and many other loving family and friends.
Graveside memorial services, with military honors, will be held at 12:30 PM Thursday, November 8 (Lane #1) at Jacksonville National Cemetery, with Rev. Alan Patz officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in his memory to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 98018, Washington, D.C. 20090-8018. Arrangements by Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave.

Stacie and Russell and your families, I am heartbroken by your Dads passing, My thoughts and prayers are with you and I hope you find comfort knowing how very much your Dad loved you and his grandchildren.
Barry definitely was one of a kind and loved by many people, I know he is in Heaven looking down and smiling....
