Dearest Son. Oh how I love and miss you SO MUCH! This hasn't gotten any easier year after year. In fact my heart is soooo heavy laden today and it hurts to the core . But God has given me grace day by day and for this I am grateful. I see your face, "#2"...then I see the faces of "#1 and #3" and see the legacy...and then I'm okay for a moment. Rest in heaven AMAZING ONE! We all love and adore you.

Hey brother in law! I really wish that you were here with us. I always think of how nice it would be to share our memories from school and how we´d celebrate the fact that Ray and I are now married. I hope that I´m making you proud with the way I take care of Ray and PJ.

To our precious son...grief can be so hard, and it is still SO HARD these 5-years since you left us. But our special memories help us all to cope.

Over these years, I have seen your beautiful Momma, Pauline, smile again. I see your very handsome son growing into a strong, focused, mannerable and loving young man, inspite of his sensitivities and his struggles to make sense of all of this. He went to church with your Dad and I Sunday! It made us happy! I have seen your amazingly comical siblings LAUGH and joke and LIVE again.

I see your Daddy struggling everyday with trying to live with the pain of the HOLE in his soul without you, yet finding the WILL to go on and continue to wait on the Lord for justice to balance her scales!

I see all your special friends and people that care about you go on in life... but the pain in their hearts shows in their eyes at the mention of your name. You are truly missed son.

But in ALL of this...I see ALMIGHTY GOD "HAS" healed and is yet "STILL healing" the broken places in each of our lives...so you see Son...even in death...you continue to make a difference in the lives of those you touched in life.

As for me and my SELF...I see that God is answering my prayers, and that's enough.

Remembering YOU and the McGhee family today and always.
GONE and never forgotten!

Well Son... We truly miss you with alI our hearts. I go to the place where they laid you to rest often and I look at your name on a marker! And I stand there and within my spirit I am still in so much pain and in awe because this is still so unbelievable and unreal. I know that you are not there Carlos, but somehow, I am able to go on and my day seems to be better because I came to this place, & I talked to your name on this marker, and sometimes, it feels that you speak back to me. I love you so much and i miss you Carlos. For many life is going on as usual. For your dad and I there is nothing usual in our life and although we live day to day, life has not gone on for us. Miss you baby...Ms. Fadia

It has been a month and 2 days since Carlos left us and transitioned on to be with Almighty God. He is so SORELY missed by EVERYONE that knows him. To know him is to love him, and the message is LOVE! To all of you...focus on this: his life, his living, his very presence in the earth WAS NOT IN VAIN! That very day that he crossed over into glory he helped someone and was helping someone! He was a giver...he was his brother's keeper...and he, like Almighy GOD...he GAVE! I pray that each of us, one be one and name by name, will follow Carlos' example, and continue to LOVE! GIVE! HELP SOMEONE, and do the RIGHT thing! I loved him with all my heart and I am one of those he helped many times and that he helped that very day. His spirit shall be with us forevermore. Be a testament of his life by the examples that we set by the lives that we live.
