Charles Doolittle Obituary

Doolittle
C.W. "Charlie" Doolittle, Sr. born December 24, 1929, son of C.V. and Idabelle Doolittle of Jacksonville, FL joined his wife Anita in heaven on January 23, 2021. Charlie and his wife were lifetime members (65 years) of North Jacksonville Baptist Church. Charlie graduated from Andrew Jackson High School and served in the U.S. Army, 2nd Armored Division.
Charlie is survived by his children Bill (Sande), Scott, and Kay Doolittle and his grandsons Clayton and Cole Doolittle.
Charlie worked for Quinn R. Barton & Company International Truck Sales for over 36 years and Carpets by Wayne for 12 years, with his brother Wayne Doolittle. In retirement, he enjoyed golf, travel, and his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to North Jacksonville Baptist Church, building fund. A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Friday, January 29th at 1 pm with Chris Coram, Associate Pastor officiating.
