Papa aka Charles Suttles was my grandfather and what a grandfather he was! Thanks to all who have left warm heartfelt messages they are all appreciated and I second what has been said about being led to Christ because of my papa & nanny ( Anna Jean). When I have a hard decision I often think what would my papa do, say a quick prayer and go with my gut. He is forever missed but he lives on not only in me but others he has touched and so many has he! The selflessness my papa had was a wonderful thing to watch, along with how he always saw the positive in every situation- I strive to be like him. I know Papa & Nanny are watching from upstairs and I am grateful for that, Papa got to meet both of my young children and I am forever grateful for that- Papa thanks for making me the man I am today. Nanny you have always known how much you mean to me and I love you to pieces- until we meet again in Heaven, I love you both!
Love your first grandson

Charles has been an important person in the Milligan family for generations - a friend, mentor, Sunday School teacher and yes, even a square dancer. He has enriched our lives and we will miss him a great deal.

To Family & Friends of Charles Suttles:
Charles & I went to school together, from the first grade thru Stetson University. I always admired him for his scholasticism, his social skills, his spiritual consistency, his commitment to our denomination, and most especially for helping to introduce me to Jesus Christ as my Savior. Although he will be missed, I look forward to seeing him again in that City for which we both gave our lives.
Fondly, Bud Henley
Incidentally, I shall always be grateful for his dear wife, Anna Jean, who was equally influential in my coming to Christ.

I remember when we moved my parents from Murray Hill to the beach, Mr. Suttles would make frequent trips to visit with them. A great friend to them and a honorable, Christian man.

What a dear Christian man Charles was..His love for the Lord showed around him. I am glad I knew him and Anna Jean both. They are reunited in heaven now and what a reunion that must be. I pray the Lord will give comfort to the family and bless them in this time of sorrow.
