Darrell Fredrick Weatherly

1965 - 2016

WEATHERLY Darrell Fredrick Weatherly, 50, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday January 3, 2016 the victim of a tragic bicycle vs vehicle hit and run accident in California, MD. He was born on April 10, 1965 in Jacksonville, FL and lived most of his life there. Recently he was living in Bryans Road, MD with family. Darrell graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and Jacksonville University, in Jacksonville, FL and Nova Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, Davie, FL. He had a BA in Biology and formerly practiced as a D.O. in south Florida. Darrell was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He was a funny, kind and wonderful person. From the time he was a little boy you could tell he was someone very special. He truly had a heart for other people and was one of the kindest people you would ever know. He will be greatly missed but he is now surrounded by many loved ones and God's great love for eternity. He is survived by his father Benjamin B. Weatherly, sisters Sherry S. Odom (Bill), Netha Ann Diamond (Rick), brothers Chris E. Smith (Lori) and Byron K. Weatherly; stepsisters Chris Reibsame (John), Ellen Tedder and Lucy Bolena (Mike) and stepbrother Frank Widner. He is also survived by nieces Chandra C. Marshall (Will), Kayla W. Anderson (Jeremy), Laura and Natalie Reibsame, Angie Kachpour, Renee Tyler, Lauryn Widner and Micki Bolena. Nephews Chris Christian, Charles Christian, Matt Diamond, Chad and Matt Widner and Jeff Murray. He also leaves numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and colleagues. Darrell touched many, many lives everywhere he went. A memorial service to celebrate Darrell's life will be held Saturday January 16, 2016 at 11:00 am at Agape' Christian Church, 2713 CR# 220 Middleburg, FL.
