David A. Ell

1949 - 2017

ELL David A. Ell, age 67, of North Port, Florida, passed away on January 15, 2017. He was born on April 24, 1949 in Teaneck, New Jersey. David was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War. During his career in facilities management he worked for American Broadcasting Companies, Broward County Government, and Flagler Development in Jacksonville. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Dianne. He is also survived by his three children, David Ell of Lighthouse Point, Florida, Jennifer Ell of Port Charlotte, Florida, Robert Ell of Glen Allen, Virginia; three brothers, Donald Pitcher of Vista, California, Reed Ell of Englewood, Florida and Layne Ell of Hammonton, New Jersey and two loving grandchildren. Visitation for David was held at Farley Funeral Home in North Port on Thursday, January 19, 2017 followed by a graveside service with military honors at Sarasota National Cemetery.
