David Haney Obituary

HANEY David Wesley Haney of Live Oak, FL passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2001 after an extended illness. Mr. Haney was native of Jacksonville, attended Landon High School, The Citadel, and University of Florida. He owned Wes Haney Chevrolet-Oldsmobile in Live Oak for 24 years and was a member of the scholarship club at University of Florida. Mr. Haney is survived by his wife Elaine Haney of Live Oak, mother, Alice A. Haney of Live Oak (formerly of Jacksonville), son David Wesley Haney, Jr. of Live Oak, daughter, Julie H. Collins of Chapel Hill, NC, step-daughters, Amy Hamilton and Angela DuBose, brother James Whitney Haney, Jr. of Atlanta, GA and eight grandchildren. Services for Mr. Haney will be held on Saturday, September 29, at 2:00PM at Community Presbyterian Church in Live Oak and Graveside at Live Oak Cemetery. Arrangements by Daniels Funeral Home in Live Oak. Memorial contributions can be made in his name to University of Florida Gator Boosters, P. O. Box 13796, Gainesville, FL 32604.
