For sometime I have been searching for David. I met David in Gurnee, Ill, when David was finishing Boot camp. We dated for awhile and I also went to VA for a week when he was there. I will never forget his smile. I will never forget him. This hit my heart and I am so very sorry. I'm sorry that it took me this long to find this. He will be in my heart, as his family will be too.

David Lentz aka (Jordan)
We shared many many long crazy nights together with all our closests friends doing what normal teenagers would do. All through high school we was close and felt like we could rule the world if we wanted to. I will always remember the times we had and all the crazy things we did. There is not a day that goes by that I don't reflect on all our memories. When I seen you at my girlfriends graduation party, it ws really meant to be. We had to tear the roof off the place one more time. I just wanted to let you, your family and others know that you were one of the best friends you could be. I'll always ride for you ya homie and all ya dawgs from W-Salem are right behind me. We love you and nothing can take that away from us. You really made everyone around you proud. We'll miss you forever. To the Lentz family, I'm terribly sorry, we lost a beautiful person. Vickie I'll always remember what you said to me at the funeral forever. I'll always celebrate your life for as long as I can David, you are greatly appreciated for the positive impact you had on everyone around you. You will be missed.

We were so close that I felt as if he was the brother I never had. I had not seen you for awhile, but loved you the same. I will deeply miss you, but you will always be my brother. A good man we lose, but what an Angel God has gained!!

Hi im BM2 James Jones and we served together onboard the USS Spruance and would like to say how sorry i am about his sudden death, He was a great friend and a great person and he will be missed. He had a lot of people at his memorial today onboard the USS Spruance so that tells me he had many freinds. I currently work at Harbor Ops on Naval Station Mayport and knew him well and would like to say how sorry I am again.
