For sometime I have been searching for David. I met David in Gurnee, Ill, when David was finishing Boot camp. We dated for awhile and I also went to VA for a week when he was there. I will never forget his smile. I will never forget him. This hit my heart and I am so very sorry. I'm sorry that it took me this long to find this. He will be in my heart, as his family will be too.

All through high school we was close and felt like we could rule the world if we wanted to. I will always remember the times we had and all the crazy things we did. Betty, I want to express my deepest sympathy for the recent passing of your nephew, David. I know how proud you were and are of him from our conversations while you were in High Point at Dar/Ran, and how much his loss will mean to you and your family. To the Lentz family, I served with your son David on board USS Spruance, we had the opertunity to make a deployment togeather, he was outgoing, funny and also a very close friend, i was shocked and deeply saddened by his death, he will be greatly missed, Respectfuly, Michael M Galindo
