Dennis Milan Obituary

MILAN Dennis Russell Milan, 48 of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, died unexpectedly August 31, 2002. He was born October 29, 1953 in Kansas City, MO and moved to Ponte Vedra Beach in 1994. He graduated from the North Kansas City High School and the University of Missouri. He was a publisher, writer, musician in a touring band and entrepreneur. Dennis was athletic and enjoyed hunting and surfing. Everyone enjoyed being with him and anyone that ever met Dennis had a story about him. Family members include his wife, Sandra Jean Milan; son, Maxwell Stewart Milan and brother, Terry Milan of Muskogee, OK. A service of Celebration will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, September 7th in the Beach United Methodist Church with the Reverend Jeff Bennett officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation. Sandy, Craig and I are in the N.C. Mts., and were so saddened and sorry to hear about Dennis. What a wonderful Father I always thought he was; always playing with Max. Our prayers are with you and Max.

I worked with Dennis for 2 1/2 years at NSCA. I have to say I have never met a more colorful character. I was deeply sadden to hear of his passing. Peace be with him and his family.
