STARLING Edward Ed Starling, age 78, of Starke, Florida passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. He was born in Lawtey, Florida on February 25, 1937 to the late Burnice E. Starling and Louvenia Allen Starling. Most of all, Ed loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Louise Minton; and his brother, Robert Starling. Edward is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Jeanette Jenny Richardson Starling of Starke, FL; his children, Janice (Frank) Lashley of Cairo, GA, Edward Peewee Starling of Middleburg, FL, Kenneth M. (Jeana) Starling of Reddick, FL, Robbin (Rusty) McDaniel of Orange Park, FL, and Kim (Steve) Thomas of Green Cove Springs, FL; his step children, Joni G. Crawford of St. George, GA, Kelly C. Harden of Jacksonville, FL, and Dena (Leland) Singleton of St. George, GA; his 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Edward's life will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 11:00 am at Archie Tanner Memorial Chapel with Mr. Leroy Starling officiating. Interment will follow at Kingsley Lake Cemetery in Starke, FL. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 6:00 -8:00 pm at the funeral home.
