Eleanor Ullman Obituary

Eleanor Eva Ullman, 82, of Edgar, died Oct. 28, 2011.

She was born Nov. 3, 1928, to Raymond and Sadie (Hobart) Ely. She was married to LaVerne G. Ullman on Jan. 5, 1950, in Coloma.

She was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother and great-grandmother.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, crossword puzzles, knitting, Jeopardy, and was an avid Packers fan.

According to her wishes, Eleanor was cremated and her family will gather in private celebration of her life.

She will be greatly missed by her nine children, Richard Ullman, Colorado, Sally (Fritz) Fetting, Illinois, Susan Ullman, Wisconsin, Michael (Cindy) Ullman, Wisconsin, Patrick Ullman, Wisconsin, Laura Ullman (Randy Wagner), Wisconsin, Lisa Ullman, Wisconsin, Lynn (Keith) Rahm, Wisconsin, and Robert Ullman, Wisconsin; 18 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, six sisters, a brother, and a grandson, Jason Landwehr.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Fran Aldrich and Tami Mroczenski.

A wife, a mother, a grandma too,

This is the legacy we have from you.

You gave us love in so many ways,

You taught us courage on our toughest days.

A stronger person would be hard to find,

And in your heart, you were always kind.

You fought for us all in one way or another,

We cherish each day we had with you, Mother.

For all these years you gave us your best,

Now the time has come for you to rest.

So go in peace, you've earned your sleep,

Your love in our hearts, we'll eternally keep.

My sympathy to all. We saw Eleanor and LaVern in church every Sunday way back when all of you were smaller. I've only seen Mike in recent years and that has been a pleasure. You had a very nice mom. Cherish the memories.
