Ed,
Was so sorry to hear that Betty had passed away.
Sue called me.
You and Betty had been on my mind this week, she must of been telling me hello.
I know this is very hard for you, and all of our thoughts and prayers are with you now.
Just know that Kathy was there to give her a hug and one of her big smiles.
They are neve alone, I know there were many family and friends that had gone before her, that were there to greet her.
One day we will see them again, and know how much peace and happiness there is on the other side.
As I told my twin sister when she was so ill, I am so jelous, you get to croos over to the other side and have complete peace, and I have to stay here and live in this imperfect world, but, not to worry, God will give you sterngth to make it through these tough days, and know too that Betty is not far away, she will continue to look over you, her spirit will be stronger than any earth life she had before.
With much love aqnd prayers to you and your family.

I will always keep Betty and Ed in my heart because they threw me a lifeline when I needed it the most by giving me a job as receptionist at their Dunn Ave. Saturday's Family Haircare. Betty was a kind and generous person who truly cared about people. She and Ed made sure that I would still have a job when they merged with Hair Cuttery, as Hair Cuttery didn't have receptionists. All my love to the Gilpin family, Betty was truly an angel on earth.
