Dear Vicki, Terry and Mr. Virts. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I have now lost both my Mom and my Dad. Losing a parent is so difficult. Terry, you must be so proud of your son. Dad was so excited when he made the astronaut program. My love to all of you. Lois (Meushaw) Wade

Mr. Virts, Terry and Vicki, I am very sorry to hear of Ellen's passing. We were all very lucky to have her in our lives. She loved all of you so much and was so proud of her grandchildren. I loved to visit because we would talk about her shopping trips, and there was always laughter, trains, and special desserts, especially the chocolate pie. My children were lucky enough to have known her as well and remember their visits the same way. She welcomed my children into the world by crocheting an outfit complete with hat, booties, and a special blanket. Ellen was a very thoughtful and loving person and will be missed by so many people. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.

Vicki, I'm sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I remember when she and your father moved to Jacksonville and how you so wanted the very best for them. My prayers are with you during this difficult time and may you find comfort in the memories you have of times past.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort. I had many memories as a teenager of great ham sandwiches your mom would make. What a wonderful marriage your parents had. Alot of laughter. She was always a lady!!

Ellen was a wonderful, caring lady who touched the lives of people in many ways. She was a devoted wife, mother and a very special grandmother. I will always remember her making me chocolate pies, her very special craft talents and her love to shop. Her advice to me was "You will love being a grandmother - it's the best - just spoil them" She left with us many fond memories. My deepest sympathy and prayers to the entire family.
