Felton Morrison Obituary

MORRISON Mr. Felton W. Morrison, 81, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at a local care center. Mr. Morrison was born in Boaz, Alabama and had lived in Jacksonville for many years. He retired with 32 years service with Anchor Hocking Glass Company and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army - World War II. Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Beatrice “Peat” Morrison on March 5, 1989 and is survived by 3 children: Janet L. (Odis) Jones, Jimmy M. (Joyce) Morrison and Gary (Paula) Morrison; 3 sisters: Mrs. Loretta Ramsey, Mrs. Lillie Williams & Mrs. Leoma (Doyle) Stovers; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and a number of nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at his church, Bethel Holiness Church, 5032 Woodcrest Road, with Rev. Gene Smith & Rev. Rickie Williams, officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery in Callahan, Florida. His family will receive friends from 5 PM to 7 PM on Friday ( TODAY ) at PEEPLES FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES, North Jacksonville Chapel, 2220 Soutel Drive near Lem Turner Road.
