BAJALIA Fred Mousa Bajalia passed away on April 5, 2012. His wife and children were by his side. Fred, the eldest of nine children of Mousa and Jameleh Bajalia was born on December 20, 1928 in Ramallah, Palestine. He came to the United States from Palestine in 1948. They returned to Valdosta where Fred worked in Real Estate with his brothers and sister. His main business interest was in commercial real estate and appraisals. He became a Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) in 1981 and worked as an MAI until he retired in 1992. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette, of 45 years; his daughter and son-in-law Angie and Scott Doub and their children Landen, Luke and Alexa; his son and daughter-in-law Freddie and Shayla Bajalia and their children Fred and Sophia; his daughter and son-in-law Laurie and Russell Wallace and their children Patrick, Alexandra and Christopher. His was a life well-lived. He was completely dedicated to his wife, children and extended family. He instilled every aspect of their Palestinian culture and Christianity in his children by the way he lived his life. He took his role as father and husband as the most important. He always exhibited the utmost pride in his family and his work. He left his children with many gifts in the way he parented, nurtured, and taught them that they will use daily. However, his love and caring for his wife will remain his most powerful legacy to his children and their spouses. The family will receive friends Monday April 9 from 6-8.
