Freddie Palmer, age 64, departed this life on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Freddie was a retired foreman of the Louisiana Dept. of Transportation and Development. Loving husband of Mary Juniors Palmer. Father of Troy (Evelyn) and Brian Arnaud, Trenise and Freddie Palmer, II. Devoted grandfather of Ka’vonta, Da’vonta, and La’Niyah. Son of the late Julia Odom and Eugene Palmer, Sr. Brother of Frances Palmer McCloud of Houston, TX, Eugene Palmer, Jr. Jennie Palmer Cosse’, Frank (Beatrice) Palmer, Sr., and the late Ernest Odom. Devoted friend of Ellis Allen; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Olive B. C. of Harvey, Rock of Ages Baptist Church, Mt Olive B.C. #1 of Algiers, St. Mary B. C., New Testament Miracle Revival Int. Ministries of Houston, TX; employees of Family Dollar Stores and Dept. of Transportation and Development are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Rock Ages Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, LA on Friday, May 5, 2017 at 10:00a.m.



Rev. Rickey Johnson, officiating; Rev. Gilbert Barnes, host pastor Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the church. Interment: Oakville Cemetery-Oakville, LA

In loving memory of a wonderful person. I will love you and miss you always. You've have been there everyday in my life and as hard as its been as these months go by i know that your in peace now. You've have been a grandpa and a father to me and i will always love ad miss you grandpa.
