George Charest Obituary

CHAREST George E. Charest, age 77, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away May 7, 2009. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and retired from Civil Service at NAS Jacksonville. A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, George is survived by his daughters Elaine Loun (Dwayne), Melanie Falke, and Holly Sewell (Robert); his sons Glen E. Charest and Michael G. Charest; also 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the graveside at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL. Family members and friends will gather on Monday morning at the graveside. Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com

Holly, Sorry for the lost of your dad. Mr.Charest was a good man. When ever I saw him he was always smileing. I know you will miss him but remember he is in heaven with your mom and is happy and pain free now. Girl if you ever need anything please give me a call i'll always be here for you.
