I grew up with Harley and later in life worked with him. I am sorry to hear of his passing.

Harley was very good to my sister, Shirley, and she misses him so much. So do I. We had many good times going out with the 2 of them. Harley had a good heart and he loved God more than his life. Until we meet again.
I will be praying for him.

Deepest condolences.. I fondly remember Harley for his kindness in keeping the air conditioner going in the St. Paul's media center. He would often check in out of the goodness of his heart to make sure it was working and make adjustments when needed. He expected nothing in return for his gift of time and talent. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We knew Harley from his BK days and kept up with him for many years thereafter. He was a gentleman, an athlete and a heck of human being. He will be missed. Our sympathy...The Puentes from North Carolina and Jacksonville, Florida.

There was only one Harley, he was loving, funny, passionate about people, huge heart and had a way of making you feel like he would be apart of your life forever. I appreciate him for that. Our sympathy to all the Rountree clan. Harley truly was a great man. My fovorite Harley story is when we played golf in a match play tournament. He was a real good golfer and when I played in my first event, he was my opponent. I lasted until we putted out on the 10th hole. He beat me by the score of 10 to 8!! Needless to say, I tried to beat him several times later, but never succeeded...He will be nissed.

Harley was a good and kind person he was one of God people, when our heat went out Harley worked in the cold most of the night to make sure my mother had heat. He will be missed.
