Henry Aman Obituary

AMAN The King of Asphalt has gone on to walk on the streets of gold. Henry Thomas Aman Sr. passed away at the age of 89 on Tuesday January 2, 2018. Born on August 19th, 1928 in Perry, Florida he was the third born of 10 children to the late Charlie and Lillian Aman. He proudly served in the Navy for two years on the USS Ranger at the end of World War II and also served in the 24th Infantry Division of the Army in the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Anna Marie Aman of 37 years and first wife Ethel Jean Aman of 29 years and our children. Henry Thomas (Tommy) Jr. and Joanne, Karen Adams and Jeff, Chuck and Tina, Eugene and Susie, Heather Shea and Mitch, Steven and Brandie. Grandchildren: Charlene Spencer, Kristin Renfroe, Carie McNeish, Jonathan, Christopher, Austin, Parker, Karissa, Ian, Velouria Shea and Gideon Aman and 9 great-grandchildren. A sister Irene Stokes and Rick and a brother Eston Aman. The memorial service with military honors will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Fruit Cove Baptist Church, 501 State Rd. 13, Jacksonville, Florida 32258 following fellowship with friends and family for a dinner. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Henry Aman may be made to the Fruit Cove Baptist Building Fund. Arrangements are under the care of St Johns Family Funeral Home & Crematory.
