Mr. Sykes was an awesome presence at Paxon. I graduated in 1978 and I have not forgotten how kind he was. He was a good caring teacher. He always had a kind word and a smile everyday. He will be missed. I am sorry to learn of his passing. My prayers are with his family.

To the Sykes family. I am just thankful that I got to know Mr. Sykes. I met him when I attended Paxon Sr. High School he was my Guidance Counselor in 1978. He was a great man and he will be missed by many....
