Hertha Verstandig Obituary

VERSTANDIG Hertha Verstandig, 88, passed away July 8, 2002 at Rivergarden Hebrew Home for the aged. Her husband, Josef Verstandig predeceased her, in 1995. She is survived by sons, Harry (Dorothy) Verstandig of Jacksonville, and Milton Verstandig of New York City; daughter, Brenda (Edwin) Schild of Toronto, Ontario; brother, Henry Weiss of Newark, NJ; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. this afternoon in the Etz Chaim section of Arlington Park Cemetery with Rabbi Dov Kentof officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rivergarden Hebrew Home for the aged. Arrangements under the direction of Hardage-Giddens Mandarin Funeral Home.
