I will miss ny Aunt Jackie. I'm so grateful that I was able to recently have an in depth conversation with her. She shared her wonderful wisdom with me. She reminded me to appreciate the little things and to just enjoy the beauty that surrounds you...from the beautiful flowers to your beautiful family. She was at that point in her life she told me...where she was just happy to just be...and to appreciate the now. I love you Aunt Jackie. I know your spirit will live on. Love your niece Stacey

I first met Jackie when she worked with the Summer Program under the Comprehensive Employment and Training Program (CETA), which transitioned to the Employment and Training Program; and on to be the Private Industry Council. I have not seen Jackie since leaving the Planning Department, but from time to time would hear of her ventures. Jackie was full of life, and always had a word of knowledge to impart. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those whose life she touched, but we have the memories to think on in the days ahead. To her family be strong and know that weeping may endure for a night, but joy does come in the morning. Trust God and He will strengthen you, and keep you.
