It´s now going on 13 years you have been gone and it still feels like just yesterday you were here. I miss you pop I just wish you got the opportunity to see what we all are becoming. Wish you could have gotten to meet your grandkids. I miss you so much . I love you and I hope you continue to guide me through this thing we call life.

My Scooter Poot, Nephew, Brother and "Our Son" words can not express my love for you. I can't remember when you were not a part of my life. When I was a child you were my "brother". As an adult, you became my "nephew" and all of our "son". You were always loving, kind and respectful no matter what; even when I was on your case. Your smile and the sound of your laughter are with me always. I never thought it would end like this. I pray that you are at peace and with your "Grandma" who you loved and who loved you more than any of us ever could. You were the light of her life.There was a connection between the two of you that words can't express but everyone could recognize. Rest well "our son". You made me proud. I love you. Even through the pain of having you taken away so soon, I find comfort in the extraordinary gift (my grand-children) that you left to comfort me.
