James Michael Ivey, "Mike" 71 of Rock Spring, GA left this world all too soon after a brief illness. The family will receive guests, 11am-1:30pm, October 24, 2018 in the funeral home chapel, Advantage Funeral Home, Chattanooga TN. A graveside service will be held at 2pm the same day in the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.

I just want to say how thankful I was to have Mike and Janice in my life. Janice I hope you will find comfort during this time. Mike will be very missed. I have wonderful memories that I know Janice will smile when I mention all the fun events we attended together, holidays and parties at their home they always included my son, Jake, and myself. (remember the turtle Jan?) Mike was a great person - served our country and I loved hearing stories of his youth and joining the service during Vietnam. Mike helped with our MGMA organization and had great ideas and we all learned so much for him. I love Mike and Janice Ivey - Mike you will be missed.
