17 years, but the pain and heartache I have has not diminished. My only comfort is hoping that you, dad and both grandpa's are having a blast watching us fools down here. I wonder if you get to see movie stars like Burt Reynolds maybe. My guess is that you are probably with people you know.
All kidding aside. I miss you and love you beyond anyone's compression.

My Dearest Jeff,
It's your birthday today and I sure wish you were here to celebrate it with all of us. I miss you so very much, and now with dad gone my heart is just torn into shreds. Life gets tougher and tougher to live. Please send me some kind of sign from you or dad so I know you two are together. That will give me some semblance of peace. I still think about you every day. I love you with all my heart and soul. It is amazing to think you would have been 39 today, probably with 3 or 4 kids. What a loss this world had. Kisses to you and dad and both Grandpas.
