Johnnie McCray Obituary

MCCRAY Deacon Johnnie McCray, Sr., a resident of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away 1/13/09. He was a member of Greater New Jerusalem Full Gospel Baptist Church, 207 W. 6th St., Bishop B.E. Williams, Overseer. Survivors include: his wife of 23 years, Earnestine McCray; 3 daughters; 3 sons, 3 step-daughters; mother, Cora Lawton; brother, Nathaniel (Sue) other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 at his Church. Visitation will be held on Friday (Today) at the mortuary from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and in the Church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of service. TO SISTER ERNESTINE MCCRAY AND THE ENTIRE MCCRAY FAMILY:SISTER MCCRAY, JOHNNY IS IN A WONDERFUL PLACE. THAT PLACE IS CALLED HEAVEN.I'VE HEARD THAT THE STREETS ARE PAVED WITH GOLD AND EVERY DAY IS SUNDAY. THERE'S NO MORE SICKNESS THERE AND NO MORE PAIN.HE IS ABSENT FROM HIS BODY BUT HE'S IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD. I KNOW THAT YOU LOVED HIM.
