Julia Hishmeh Obituary

HISHMEH Julia Hishmeh, 97, passed on to her eternal home on Monday, March 29, 2004. Mrs. Hishmeh had lived most of her life in Jacksonville, was a lifelong member of the Ramallah American Club and she owned her own business for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Saleh Hishmeh, Sr.; her parents, Rizzallah and Mary Charles; 2 sisters, Mary Charles and Josephine Charles; and 1 brother, Alfred Charles, Sr. Survivors include her daughter and her husband, Elaine and Adil Salem; her son and his wife, Thomas Jr. and Vera Hishmeh; 2 sisters, Jeanette Dudum and Jean Charles; 3 brothers, George, Leo and Joe Charles; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m. and the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 6320 Bennett Road. The Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 1, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, with Msgr. Mortimer Danaher officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. The pallbearers will be George A. Bajalia, A. George Bajalia II, Charles Carroll, George Jaghab, Lawrence Ossi and Michael Ossi. Arrangements by COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 940 Cesery Boulevard.
