Kelly Ramayya Obituary

RAMAYYA Kelly Marie Ramayya, 46, devoted mother, daughter, sister, godmother, and cherished friend to many, passed away peacefully from this life through the Gates of Heaven on Monday, July 18, 2016 after a prolonged battle with breast cancer. A native of Missouri, Kelly was born July 26, 1969. She was predeceased by her grandparents, but leaves behind so many who loved and deeply cared for her including her parents, William and Christina; her brother Brent; her three children, Rebecca, Maggie, and Brent; her godchildren, Mandy, Torry, and Katie; and many loving relatives and cherished friends. Kelly fought her cancer the same way she lived her life, with unbridled enthusiasm and a positive energy which inspired everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, kind spirit, love of good food, and her inability to sing on key. Kelly never knew a stranger, as all she met in life thought of her as a close friend. A Memorial Mass will be held for Kelly 10:00 am, Saturday July 23, 2016 at Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 121 East Duval Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32202. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32211, www.corey-kerlin.com.

Kelly was so extremely friendly. She treated everyone as if they were her best friend .

She was always so cheery I never saw Kelly down She uplifted everyone around her with just her presence.

I'll never forget her infectious laugh. She will be so missed but never forgotten.

To the family of Kelly,

Hearing the passing of Kelly was overwhelmingly painful. Kelly had a way about her, she was sweet and kindhearted. We were able to bond over being mothers, always talking about our kids and what they were up to. She always had a smile on her face and the best laugh. Please know that Kelly will never be forgotten, she was very much loved by so many people that she worked with, including me. I will continue to pray that God and His angels will surround you with loving arms of comfort and peace in your hearts. I hope this prayer is comforting in your family's time of need.

"Lord, at the moment nothing seems to be able to help the loss I feel. My heart is broken and my spirit mourns. All I know is that Your grace is sufficient.
This day, this hour Moment by moment I choose to lean on You, For when I am at my weakest Your strength is strongest.
I pour out my grief to You And praise You that on one glorious day When all suffering is extinguished and love has conquered We shall walk together again."

Your energy and humor will be greatly missed. Even in the midst of your battle, you were a ray of sunshine and always thinking of others. Your attitude through it all was inspirational and you became my hero. The world is a little less brighter without you.
