HAMPTON Kenneth Bernard Hampton " Pooh Bear" a resident of 1566 Florida Ave. died August 9, 2003. Survivors include: mother, Florence Hampton; father, Kenneth Bernard Coswell; step-father, Keith Promise; grandmother, Mary Ann Hampton; uncles, Pedro Colson, Willie Colson, Jackie Colson (Katie), Ted Hampton (Vanessa) and Fernando Hampton (Mecey) aunt, Devera Mitchell Decosta other relatives and friends. Graveside Service will be held SATURDAY at 1:00 p.m. at Restlawn Cemetery. The cortege will assemble at the residence at 12:15 p.m. Visitation will be held on Friday (Today) from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the mortuary. My condolences to the Family. I did not know Pooh-Bear but heard of his tragic lost. As a mother I don't know how it feels ,but can only inmagine. My daughter lost someome one very dear to her this week being the kind and sweet gentleman that Pooh was. Stay strong and may God Bless you all.

POO BEAR I PERSONALLY DIDN'T KNOW HIM BUT I WILL LOVE TO SEE HIM AND THE BOYS DANCE AT THE CLUB, THEY DANCE SO SMOOTH. AFTER 11 WON'T BE THE SAME ANYMORE BUT KNOW YOU CAN DANCE FOR THE LORD. This is poohbear family I know how it is to lose someone you love so I know what yall is going through. Poohbear was like my brother even those he wanted to be more than friends. I will always remember him as a good boy that he was. I wish that times 'cause turn back around so I could tell him how I really felt but he is in a better place now so I'm happy he don't have to hurt know more. I will always keep poohbear in my momeries.
