Laurie was my HS sweetheart and will remain in my heart forever. She was a warm friendly loving person that was irreplaceable. I missed her the minute our relationship ended and her passing is hard to accept for myself and all who knew her.

May god continue to bless her family as they live with this loss. I know she is in a wonderful place and look forward to the pleasure of seeing her in Gods kingdom.

Dear Schellenberg and Davis Families~ I was a teacher at Wolfson High School while Laurie was a student there. I can still envision her lovely face and her radiant smile--she was equally as beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside. For one such as I who was so blessed to be able to work with young people as my career and calling in life, it is a singular sadness to know that one of your former students has left this life much, much too soon. My faith assures me that Laurie has gone on to a life everlasting and that we shall see her again one day. To her husband and children and to her sisters, please know that Laurie's was a life that made a difference in this world for the better. God bless you all and grant you peace~

Dear Rik,
I worked with Laurie in the insurance industry many years ago. She was always so enthusiastic about her work. I remember her excitement when she was going to get married to you. She was so happy. I saw her years later (about two years ago) and she was still the same smiling face as I had remembered. I just learned through a co-worker of her passing and was so sorry to hear this sad news. I can only imagine how all of you must feel. However, I know you and your children will smile again one day soon, because Laurie will remain in your hearts and help to guide you and the kids in that direction. Knowing Laurie, she would want you and your children to find a "new normal" and live a happy life for her. God Bless all of you. Sincerely, Jackie Tyson

Dear Rik, T.D., Evie and Family,

The passing of Laurie has left a void that can only be replaced by the fond memories and impact she had on so many lives, including mine. Laurie and I lost touch after high school but I was fortunate enough to see her again at a party only few months ago. We had a chance to laugh, catch up and reminisce. Going back to when I first met Laurie in our high school Spanish class until the last time I saw her, I will remember her unwaivering grace, dignity and courage, her infectious smile and the ease of her company. It is those qualities that we can all reflect on to help us understand God's plan to take her from us so soon and to give us the strength we need when we are faced with challenges in our own lives. We were all blessed to have known a truly extraordinary woman. Rik, may God bless you and know that you and your family are all in our thoughts and prayers.

With Much Love and Sympathy,
Dina (Klempf) and Kevin Sack
