GRAYCAR Lois M. Graycar, 91, passed away peacefully October 26, 2015 at Community Hospice McGraw Center. Lois was born on April 5, 1924 to Myrtle and Samuel Nickell in Oak Hill, WV. Her childhood was spent in Daytona Beach, FL until her family relocated to Jacksonville. Lois was an active member, organist and choir director at Edgewood Avenue Christian Church and was later engaged in church-oriented volunteer work while living in Jacksonville Beach. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and playing games. Her grace, laughter and good humor never left her and gifted all who loved and cared for her. Lois is preceded in death by her youngest son, Michael Graycar, and her loving husband of 42 years, Michael Graycar. She is survived by daughters Beverly Koschak (Jim) & Joyce Graycar, son Gary Graycar, five grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Lois' caregivers for their attentive and tender care. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northeast Florida Community Hospice.
