My mother has been gone now for a little over a month and the finality of it has finally sunk in. I miss her beyond words. I miss her voice. I miss knowing that she is there for me no matter what. My mom was the best mom there was. I hope my children will say the same thing about me one day. But what wonderful hope as I stood looking down at her in the casket that she wasn't there. She wouldn't want any of us mourning over her. Instead she would want all of us to know about the fantastic, amazing place she is in right now and especially she would want us to know how we can get there as well. I trust you know for sure when you die you will go to heaven. If you don't know please e-mail me and I'll let you know what my mom would want you to know. God bless all of you. Spread the good news!

Dana, Elaine forwarded your message to me. So sorry to learn of your loss, but it's great to know that, for your mother, to be absent from the body means to be present forever with our Lord Jesus. And it means a great reunion one day soon. Praying that the God of All Comfort will surround you with His peace and comfort in these days.
