MAXIMO RODRIGUEZ Obituary

RODRIGUEZ Maximo Max Rodriguez, 80, Jacksonville, Florida, left to join our Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 23, 2011 from natural causes after a long illness. He was born on February 18, 1931 in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico. He served in the Army in Korea until 1953. He held a number of jobs, but loved most his role as manager for Harry Ciprianis Restaurant, New York. Most recently, he was proud to work as associate caretaker at Resurrection Church. He was a devout Catholic and a beloved member of Resurrection Parish. Max is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Veronica; loving children, daughter, Anna Denise Candido, Jacksonville, Florida; sons, Edgar (Annie), Puerto Rico; Andy (Diane), New Jersey; Jim (Evelyn), New York; Phil (Cindy), California; beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica and Mark; wonderful family, friends and neighbors too numerous to name. The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, July 27 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd., Jacksonville, FL. The funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 28 at 10:00 AM at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3383 University Blvd. North, Jacksonville, FL. 32277 with interment to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Rd., Jacksonville, FL. 32218. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice, 4266 Sunbeam Rd., Jacksonville, FL, 32257 or St. Judes Hospital. Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com

We are sorry for your lose but heaven is now a better place with Max there. Max was a great man and I learned a lot from him over the last 14 years. He will be missed but not forgotten. God Bless you all. The Crolley Family (Jacksonville, Fl.)
