I worked with Melanie at FDIC in both Oklahoma City and Dallas. She was a truly wonderful spirit and is now free to roam heaven with the best of them. She had a beautiful laugh and a big smile and was always happy to see friends. My thoughts and prayers are with Terry and her children that she left behind.

Melanie was the best of the people whom have ever walked this earth. She is in heaven I am sure, looking on all of us as a special guardian angel. I have been so blessed in many ways to have known her and her family in my life. She had a way of walking to any room and letting her presence be known. She unlike most of us did so much so well. She could make the darkest day look bright, and find something postive about everything in life. She had many boulders to heave out of her road to heaven but she always did and kept on smiling. She left behind for all of us who were blessed to know her a genuine love of life, an understanding to overcome anything that got in our way. The possibilities of life and the opportunties it gives us. Most of all Melanie did everything at 120%. She loved her husband and children with all of her heart, and always reminded us to do the same. She loved her friends and stayed strong for all of us. Melanie I will always love you and never forget the lessons you taught me. I will never forget to try to be as much of a friend as you were to me to others and most of all I will keep the promises I made you. You were a leader to all, and for those of us who followed in work, in friendship, and in memory you will live forever in our hearts. Melanie all the wonderful things you shared about your husands of husbands and your children are true they are truly as wonderful as the stories you shared. God Bless them. Until we meet again.

Melanie and I go way back to the early 80's and she was one of my dearest friends. I will cherish her love and friendship forever. She was ALWAYS there when I needed a shoulder and I am so sad that I couldn't be with her in her hour of need, except in my thoughts and prayers. I already miss her, her sense of humor and her laughter. The last time I talked with Melanie, we laughed and we cried. We talked about how much she was loved by so many. She knew God gave her many, many wonderful family members and friends to help her though her darkest hours. My heartfelt love and sympathy goes out to Terry, Ericka and Kevin. She loved you all so dearly. She is at peace now, cradling in the arms of Jesus and smiling down on us all. I know God is taking care of her and she is one of his mighty ANGELS! Much love to you Mel. I miss you.

Melanie, my deepest regrets on not getting your truck completed on time. All the guys at the shop will miss your presence. Maybe now I can have a guiding hand to complete it to the best of our ability. You can still enjoy it. It was a pleasure knowing you and may god let you have your ride in the truck.

With deepest conviction, I consider myself both blessed and, a better person for having known Melanie. Melanie was a true and genuine friend who stuck by me during a tough point in my life, when others wouldn't have done so. I have never forgotten that and never will. I will always remember Melanie's great smile and sense of humor and above all, her genuine kindness towards me and other people.

I feel blessed and grateful to have had Melanie as my friend...

I will always remember Melanie's wonderful laughter and genuine smile. One of my cherished memories was our venture with Melanie sailing my ensign. I will miss her, but will remember how she lived life with joy.

To Melanie's family and dear friends: Those of us who knew and worked with Melanie at Bombardier Capital greatly miss her. She brought many positive changes to our company with enthusiasm and motivating support. She was business-savvy and willing to roll up her sleeves and work hard to get the job done. Melanie had a smile for everyone and she tackled everything with an example-setting attitude. We loved her sense of humor, her friendly cheerfulness, and her dedication. We hope you, as her family and dear friends, know how much we care.....our prayers are with you.

I was fortunate enough to know Melanie for a short time. She was a truly caring and giving person. I think back to an instance when I lost someone close to me. She was so understanding and wanted to help out in any way she could. It is such a pleasure to have known such a wonderful person. Melanie will be missed, but she is now at peace and in a much better place. My prayers are with the family.

I worked under Melanie at Bombardier Capital. I only knew her on a business level. In speaking with friends of hers she was truly a loving and caring person. Even in her illness she was always thinking of others. My prayers of incouragement and guidance are with her family.

Melanie was a wonderful human being. I first met her at Bombardier Capital where she was my Vice President in the Mortgage Division. She was the first woman that I had ever been under in that status. Sometimes, we would stay to work until 10pm nightly and I would walk into her office and talk. I truly believe that she is at peace and is in Heaven looking down on her family and friends. Angie Chriest and Melanie were best of friends and you saw them everywhere together. I pray that the family and friends will be at peace knowing that Melanie is in a much better place then here on earth.
