To the Donne Family:
I was saddened to hear of Mike's passing at far too early an age. My memories of him go back to high school, he was a great doubles partner on the tennis team for two years, a wonderful musician, and his family always surrounded us with genuine hospitality and interest when he had us over to his house. To all of you, and especially to Pat and his son, I express my heartfelt condolences.

Dear Donne Family,
I am so sorry to hear such sad news. Even though it has been such a long time since we've seen each other, I have many wonderful memories of growing up next door to your loving family. We had so much fun together. Even though Mike was taken from you at such a young age, I know that he is very much alive in your hearts, and always will be. I will keep you all in my prayers. Love, Lynne

To Mike's Family: I have been a member at OCC for only 2 years and over that time, he became "my cadie". People always asked me why I liked him so much and I would reply..."he's a nice guy, he reads the greens like no one else, and when he is with me, I play my best golf!!!"
He was really looking forward to this season as he had cheered me on so well during the OCC Club Championship. He thought WE might win it this yr.!
...and to his son, he could not stop talking about you enough. He was so very proud of you and your accomplishments. Every round he gave me an update on you and he loved you very much.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn’s rain,
When you awaken in the morning’s hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
With love to all of you from the Hendrix family in SC.

To Pat and family, so sorry to hear about Mike. My prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. I will always remember Mike as our "bodyguard" at the all day concerts at Three Rivers Stadium in high school.
