Morris Libby Obituary

LIBBY Morris Howard Libby, 86, of Jacksonville passed away May 4, 2006. A loving husband, father, grandfather & friend, Mr. Libby was a faithful member of the Jacksonville Jewish Center. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Navy as a Lt. Commander and a pilot. He was the founder and former owner of Rock-A-Bye Diaper Service here in Jacksonville. Preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Fruma Blattner Libby, he is survived by his loving wife, Winifred Libby; son, Robert Libby; daughter, Debbie Libby Weitz (Brad); stepsons, David Weisman (Susanne) & Barry Weisman (Karen); grandsons, Travis & Taylor Weitz; step grandchildren, Russell, Shari, Brett, Alison & Teddy Weisman; brothers & sisters-in-law, Grace Libby, Bernard Maron (Joan), Ruth & Abe Fraden and Anita Maron; several nieces & nephews. A graveside service will be held 12:00 PM Sunday, May 7, 2006 at New Center Cemetery with Rabbi Jonathan Lubliner officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Community Hospice of NE FL. JUST TO GO THROUGH DEATH LOSING ONE

HUSBAND IS BAD,LIKE ME, HAVING TO

BURY 2 IS SOMETHING ELSE. MORRIS WAS

SUCH A SPECIAL GENTLEMAN . NEVER WILL I FORGET THE GOOD TIME ARNO AND

I HAD WITH YOU AND MORRIS,NEWPORT

AND JUST BEING AROUND YOU TWO. IF I

COULD TAKE YOUR HAND AND LEAD YOU

THROUGH THIS, I WOULD,BUT I KNOW THERE IS A LONG,LONELY ROAD AHEAD

THAT YOU MUST TRAVEL ALONE.
