I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Thompson at the Lee High School baseball field. What a great man with a gentle spirit. I am saddened to learn of his passing; I'm guessing God needed another coach up there to work with some of His kids. Renea, Rocci, Cam...you're all in my thoughts & prayers.

To Victor and family.
My heart was shocked and sadden hearing of Moses death. I am happy that I had the opportunity to visit with him during my visit, to jax. about one year ago. Our relationship goes way back including the White family and others. I will always cherish the memories and growing up around your family. Like Moses your parents were special and caring.
Like we sang as member of the Mt. Vernon Bapt. Church Youth Choir. Moses sent up a "Little Timber Every Day", to Glory and the Lord has prepared his Mansion and carried him home. Victor I will be praying for your family and I know that we will see Moses again.

Lisa,

Death is a fearful visitor, snatching

away people who are precious and

leaving you

behind to mourn, grieve, and wonder.

Dealing with the death of a loved one,

death can be devastating. It can sap

your energy,

change your plans, overwhelm your

soul, alter your outlook, test your

faith, steal your

joy, and challenge your assumptions

about life's purposes.

The frantic emptiness of your loss

threatens the comfort that previously

originated from

your trust in God. You can say to the

Lord, "I will fear no evil, for you

are with me".

His loving arms never let you go. He

is always with you.

Slowly at first, but most assuredly,

He provides comfort and release from

the darkness.

He gives light. He leads you.

To Lisa, Victor, Renea, Rocky,Cameron, Aunt Ophelia, Aunt Jessiemae, Aunt Julia, Uncle John, Uncle George, Uncle Clifford, and the Thompson family:

We share and hold memories that are very dear to us, that none can ever erase (holidays, trips, and FAMU football to name a few), as we pause to reflect on the life of Moses Thompson, Jr., brother, friend and nephew. He was a very good and kind man who loved and respected people. He enjoyed the friendship and comradery of the children and families involved in the sports that he loved and coached.

We will cherish his memory and will continue to support the family with love and kindness. Remember that the battle is not yours alone; hold on to your faith and give your troubles to the Lord-- He is able to bear your burdens and make everything alright.

With love,
Carla W. Thompson, Mrs. Nancy R. Whitten and Family

Felicia: Words can't express my heartfelt sorrow for you at this time. I always enjoyed seeing you and Moses working the games at the park, him on the field and you in the consession stand.

I know that God will strengthen your heart! And that He is too wise to make an error. Trust in the Lord for peace that will pass all of your understanding.

I'm praying for you and the family.

Sister Lisa Palmer:

Someone you love is gone, and your

life is shaken. The loss makes you

feel off-balance, unstable. Some might

even think that God is no longer

watching over you.

But the eyes of the Lord are on the

righteous and His ears are open to

their cry. He is near to those who

have a broken heart. He is the Rock

whose presence we can always depend on.

God's presence is real. He

continually watches over us.

He is rock solid.
